I'm a long time Neil fan (of course) along with a general appreciation for all
forms of music (you name, I dig it). A quick take on my "background":
- Natural Floridian. - - - Not only born here, both of my folks were!
- Vet. - - - Vietnam-era U.S.Army veteran (no tour of Nam, though).
- Gator. - - - University of Florida alumnus.
- Biker. - - - Been In The Wind street-legally almost 35 years off and on.
Been on "Clyde (the camel)," my current Shovel-head, for almost 20 years.
- "Hacker." - - - Been screwing around with computers for over 30 years.

With a friend she met in Key West (picture is years old, she's about
twice that size now, and now has her own reptile, an iguana named Lantz...)
Some of the stuff I've worked on:
- Maintained Army cryptographic & communications gear.
- Participated in (wrote & supported code for) the launch of the first
dozen Space Shuttles. (Cried for the Challenger & the Columbia.) :-(
- On original OS/2 design & development team. (Had my share of fights
with the designers on the Microsoft half of the team...)
- Software architect (with patents) for first IBM ThinkPad
portable. (That one was a purely pen-based system, preceded "PDA"s.)
- Prototyped Virtual Reality systems. (Couldn't sell the executives on it though...)
- Compiled the earliest Rust List Neil tributes
(the rust@death ones).
- Architect of Personality Agents. (A conversational "talking head" interface.)
- Administered The Rust List through its
10-year anniversary.
- Developed and patented download music (or other "intellectual
capital") store technology.
- Managed HyperRust
through its 10-year anniversary.
- Currently working on IBM web publishing.
