NeilYoung.com Launch to
feature OnLine Film Festival

On Tuesday, April 25, after years of waiting for an official Neil Young on-line presence beyond the occasional album features that have appeared on the Reprise Records site, the official NeilYoung.com website makes its debut. HyperRust, along with Neil Fans everywhere, welcomes the site into cyberspace and wishes it the best.

Although the site debuts on the same day as the US release of Neil's Silver & Gold album and its cousin the Silver & Gold video, much of the excitement surounding the launch of NeilYoung.com is being generated by the Skakey Pictures On-Line Film Festival, planned to coincide with the release of the new album. Not only will the festival feature the well-known films like Rust Never Sleeps and Year Of The Horse, but Neil fans will also get their first authorized look at previously unreleased or long unavailable Neil films like Muddy Track and Journey Through The Past. Here's a full list of the titles that will be included...

But it's not all full-length films -- there will also be almost 30 different music videos played throughout the festival. Details about the running times for films and videos will be provided shortly.

Another bonus soon to be available from NeilYoung.com: free music downloads of rare music. First in plan is Revolution Blues from the unavailable On The Beach album. Other nuggets from the Neil Young vaults will follow. Stay tuned.
