Pre-Fest Notice

The Fest Call was put out by Bill On The Beach Shaw....

Greetings Rusties...

Kind of short notice but anyway this weekend SUNDAY MAY 3rd in Santa Cruz we're going to have an Afternoon Jam in the rust tradition. Nobody and I (On The Beach) have been jamming together for about the last 3 months with a good drummer, doing mostly Neil stuff but also various other Hendrix, Zeppelin, Stones, Joe Walsh, etc tunes. Only problem is we still don't have a regular bass player! D'oh!

So we will jam one way or another -- but if any of you Bay Area rusted bass players would like to sit in with us, by all means please come!

We'll get going in the mid-afternoon, 3-ish or so. We'll fire up the BBQ, have some beer on ice and hopefully the weather will be nice. Those of you who have been to my parties before should remember how to get there. All others please reply for directions. By the way, we were calling our band Nobody on the Beach for a while but then opted for Third Bowl during an 'inspired' moment at one of our practices!
